Supermodel Naomi Campbell has praised Vladimir Putin for his physical fitness and for making a "great impression on women".
In a magazine interview, Ms Campbell avoided any burning political issues, opening instead with a question on how the Russian PM keeps in shape.
Questioning him for GQ, she also opted for topics including erotic calendars, motorbikes and bare knuckle fighting.
The model, who lives in Moscow with her Russian billionaire boyfriend Vladislav Doronin, probed Russia's hard man on his keep-fit regime.
He said he doesn't work out as much as he should, although he does go to the gym and swims everyday.
"From time to time", he added, he meets with friends and does "extra-curricular stuff".
Ms Campbell also asked Mr Putin how he felt about a group of female Moscow University students who posed in their lingerie for a calendar marking his 58th birthday.
He said the women were "courageous" for openly showing their support.
He added that, particularly in Russia, it is "fashionable" to criticise those in power - something Ms Campbell apparently does not advocate.
