Mr Justice Paul Baffoe-Bonney, a Supreme Court Judge on Saturday called on all citizens to believe in Ghana, because there is much to be reaped from it.
"Much has been said about how bad this nation appears to be and its slow pace in development, the nation can do with our help if we remain in it, there is much fruit to be borne," he added.
Justice Baffoe-Bonney who was speaking at the 52nd annual council meeting of the Boys Brigade, under the theme "Bear much fruit," said it was sad that the nation was losing so much of its best brains to developed countries.
He said the youth must be empowered to appreciate the challenges ahead of them to help them tap the wealth of resources available, since the future of the nation would be entrusted in them.
Justice Baffoe-Bonney advised electorates in the coming elections to be informed voters who will vote for those they believe in, and also for what they believe in.
He said it is the collective responsibility of all to ensure that the election was violent free.
He urged members of the brigades not to limit themselves to the core training they had received, but to explore other areas of importance that will enhance their scope of knowledge.
Revered Kwesi Agyin-Birikorang, President of the Brigade said the objective of the brigade is for the advancement of Christ's kingdom among boys and to promote habits of reverence, discipline, self-respect and all that tends towards a true Christian manliness.
He added that the brigade would care for and challenge young people for life, through a programme of informal education, underpinned by the Christian faith.
Rev Agyin-Birikorang advised the brigades to behave well as Christians during and after the elections.
