The Tema Municipal Assembly has donated assorted drinks and GH¢400 cash to Kpone Traditional Council towards this year's Homowo festival.
Mr David Annang, Tema Municipal Chief Executive presenting the items, urged the people to use the festival to put the past behind them, unite and initiate development projects to improve their living standards.
He asked traditional authorities in the area to remain focused and ensure that the people continued to rely on them for inspiration.
Mr Nathaniel Tawiah Nortey, a retired educationist and member of the council, receiving the items expressed appreciation to the assembly for the gesture.
