While Ghanaians are still reveling in their sweet 2-1 victory over Nigeria, some families are counting loses as they lost family members to the unrestrained jubilation that followed the victory.
Two people died in the Northern Regional capital, Tamale when they apparently let go all caution in their celebration of the victory of the Black Stars over their Nigerian counterparts.
Joy News correspondent, Mahama Shaibu reported that one of the victims crashed his over speeding motorbike into another one and died instantly while the other attempted jumping into a moving articulator truck and was ran over by the vehicle.
A number of other supporters also got injured and are at the Tamale hospital receiving treatment.
On a less tragic note, another motor rider escaped near death in front of the office of Joy FM when he acrobatically jumped to safety from his uncontrolled bike.
Many motor and drivers engaged in dangerous antics ass soon as the referee’s last whistle was blown.
