Supporters of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) are amassing at party headquarters, currently a scene of a battle ground following the death of Upper East regional chairman Adam Mahama.
Water cannons, tear gas wielding police and security officers suited up in no mood for compromise as party supporters prepare to confront national party chairman Paul Afoko.
Joy News' Kwakye Afreh Nuamah reports that about 50 security officers line up the street of the Asslyum Down headquarters of the NPP in Accra.
The death to Adam Mahama Thursday morning has proved to be a trigger for the agitations after Paul Afoko’s junior brother and ex-convict Gregory was arrested.
