Three players who have not played for Ghana's senior national team in recent times have been invited for next week's friendly against Tunisia in Accra.
According to a Ghanasoccernet source within the Ghana Football Association, Germany-based defender Hans Adu Sarpei, Andre Ayew of French club Lorient and Birmingham winger Quincy Owusu Abeyie have been invited.
Sarpei has not played for the Black Stars since falling out with former coach Sellas Tetteh in June but Serbian coach Milovan Rajevac is keen on his return.
Ayew, son of legend Abedi Pele, has not been invited since Ghana finished third at the African Cup of Nations in January but the new coach is impressed with his performance for Lorient.
Owusu-Abeyie was left out of the Black Stars final World Cup qualifier against Lesotho last month after failing to report in time for September's game against Libya.
He has another chance to improve on his disciplinary record otherwise he could be left out in future matches.
The game in Accra serves as a warm-up for the start of the second phase of the World Cup qualifiers in March.
Ghana are in Group Four where they face Benin, Mali and Sudan.
