New York Red Bull defender and former cranes skipper Ibrahim Sekagya is in town.
Sekagya is apparently in town to boost the cranes team ahead of their encounter with Ghana black starts in a must win match.
However, reports from several media in the United States where Sekagya's New York Red Bulls is indicate that the player was recalled to his national side (Uganda)
A sports site in the USA, Big Apple news confirms that Sekyagya is part of the players from the club that will be participating in the international friendlies.
"..Add defender Ibrahim Sekagya to the list of Red Bulls players who are participating in international friendlies this week," Big Apple reports.
Meanwhile, cranes coach Milutin Sredojević Micho refused to comment on allegations of Sekyagya's recall and neither did he deny.
“Sorry, I can’t comment…Even if it is true, I will not tell you.” Micho said.
Ghana, meanwhile, have wasted no time in making their presence known. The Black Stars have rejected Grand Imperial in favour of Serena Hotel.
Reports from Ghana indicate that the team will be airlifted back to Ghana immediately after tomorrow’s match.
Ghana top Group E with eight points, Togo are on six and Uganda and Guinea on four apiece with two games left. The top two automatically qualify
