Hundreds of listeners of Joy FM and fitness lovers Saturday morning joined Lexis Bill, host of Drive Time programme, to climb the Aburi Mountain in the first edition of the Walk with Lexis fitness initiative.
The health walk, powered by Joy FM, saw listeners of the station, including Nii Lantey Vanderpuye, Minister for Youth and Sports, walk from the Ayi Mensah toll booth to the Peduase Lodge.
Participants actively jogged, amidst jama and good music, and took part in aerobic sessions after the walk.
Lewis Kwame Sakyiamah, better known as Lexis Bill, said the walk was born out his “passion for fitness" adding, over the years I have seen the benefits of working out and I thought I shouldn’t keep it to myself. So let’s step out there and get a lot more people live a healthy life”.
