With competition breathing down his neck – obviously from his fiercest rival Shatta Wale – all eyes were on Stonebwoy’s Bhim Concert on Friday night.
Stonebwoy faced a herculean task of filling the over 20,000-seater capacity Fantasy Dome at the Trade Fair, a feat Shatta Wale achieved in October during his ‘Reign’ album launch.
Also, Shatta Wale had announced a concert on the same date at the Mantse Agbona in James Town – which many believe was pointed at killing Stonebwoy’s ‘Fill the Dome’ mission.
Stonebwoy braced up the storm to achieve a feat he will definitely relish for years to come.
Not only did thousands of Ghanaians show up, excluding President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, who Stonebwoy specially invited.
But it was not short of stars as some of the country’s biggest celebrities also showed up to support the Bhim Nation president.
The concert witnessed memorable performances from Stonebwoy who dished out an unprecedented catalogue of his hit songs.
On the night, several personalities including Morgan Heritage, Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan, Togolese footballer Emmanuel Adebayor, Sarkodie, VVIP, Medikal, Kwesi Arthur, Kidi, Edem, Patapaa, Samini and a host of others join Stonebwoy thrill patrons.
