Vodafone Ghana has pledged commitment to help develop Ghanaian festivals, saying festivals are key aspects of Ghanaian culture that must be supported to enhance the full growth of basic traditional practices.
The company says it is important for the corporate world to lend its full support to the festivals and help traditional leadership propel their good aspects.
Media Relations Manager of Vodafone Ghana, Gideon Sackitey has told Adom News it was for that reason that Vodafone supported the just ended Aburi Anafo Odwira Festival.
He said Vodafone was excited to be part of the development of festivals across the country as well as the culture of the people adding that Vodafone will continue to lend such a support as a means of helping grow traditional set-ups which are a key aspect to the growth of local communities.
He said festivals provide the platform for companies like Vodafone to bridge the gap between them and their customers, and also provide on-the-spot services.
