From 21st to 23rd March, 2025, your Super Station Joy 99.7 FM will be embarking on a trip with our lovely listeners away from Accra, to some of Volta Region’s most iconic tourist sites.
According to Programmes Manager Edem Knight-Tay, patrons of Joy FM's Volta Adventure will tour the Kpando Lakeview Zipline, Tafi-Atome Monkey Sanctuary and Cultural Village, Mount Gemi, Amedzofe Waterfalls and Canopy Walk.
She also noted that there will be various recreational activities at the Volta Serene Hotel where the tourists will be accommodated for two nights. At the Volta Serene Hotel there will be a borborbor dance session, a movie night and a night club session with DJ Black.
To cap it all, we will go cruising on the Dodi Island while enjoying various forms of entertainment.
This trip costs GHS 3,500 to cover transportation, accommodation, and food.

Dubbed Ghana Month on Joy, Joy FM will explore the inspiration behind some of Ghana’s traditional cloths, Adinkra symbols and their meanings, traditional foods and many more, each day in March.
Your most authoritative entertainment talk show, Showbiz A-Z will also have a detailed conversation about the Ga culture at the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, on 15th March, 2025.
The entire month-long celebration will be crowned with the Accra High Street Tour on 29th March, 2025 as we walk from Osu Castle to the Light House, while touring destinations of historical significance in Accra.
In our bid to project Ghanaian music in the month of Independence, there will be almost 100% Ghanaian music on your super-station, Joy 99.7 FM.
There will be insightful features on various aspects of Ghana’s culture plus a 30-minute daily Ghana Month programme dubbed Focus on Ghana on Joy 99.7FM.
