Black Queens midfielder Jennifer Cudjoe says Algeria is one of the "strongest" sides ahead of Ghana’s quarterfinal clash at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
The Black Queens will face Algeria on July 19 at the Stade de Berkane, after securing a 4-1 win over Tanzania in their final Group C match to seal qualification.
Algeria advanced from Group B which included Nigeria, Tunisia, and Botswana.
"They are definitely one of the strongest teams," Jennifer told JoySports' Lawrence Baidoo.
"It’ll be similar to facing Morocco or Tunisia. I think it's going to be a good game.
"We know why we’re here. We know what we’re thinking. Our focus is to go in with the mentality to win. It's not going to be easy, but we’ll tackle it with the information and preparation we have and go all out."
Ghana will hold their last training session on Friday ahead of the highly anticipated game on Saturday.
The Queens hope to qualify for the semi-finals for the first time since 2016.
