The George Walker Bush Highway from Tetteh-Quarshie to Mallam has no doubt brought great relief to motorists and residents who ply the route.
Joy News has however observed the highway seems to be suffering a lack of attention which if not addressed, could lead to a deterioration of the infrastructure.
Barely five months after its inauguration the median is being overtaken by weeds and several dents into the crash barrier have been left unrepaired.
Most road users Joy News’ Francis Abban spoke to in the following report, blame the situation on the poor maintenance culture.
