Western Union International has climaxed its one month Family Fun Day Promotion with an exciting Family gathering in Kumasi. The day, which was purposefully organized to celebrate mothers across the country, brought together a large number of families at the Kumasi Ridge Park on Mother’s Day. According to organizers, the maiden edition of the Western Union Family Fun Day Promotion which ran from April 2 to April 30 was activated to create a platform for Western Union to bond with their loyal customers and their families. During the promotional period customers who received money were given an invitation card to attend the event. All that customers needed to do was fill out coupons that were entered into a draw on the Fun Day event. Prizes such as mobile phones, branded Western Union materials, shopping vouchers and other great items were won on that day by customers of the company. As part of the fun filled day, patrons were treated to good music by Ernest Opoku, Celestine Donkor and hiplife sensation Guru coupled with rib-cracking comedy from the MC of the occasion, Kwame Djokoto of Ediban fame.
