A first half goal by Mohammed Yabuku secured AshantiGold a win as the Miners beat Mighty Jets 1-0 on Saturday in a Glo Premier League match.
The win at the Accra Sports Stadium was AshantiGold's fourth consecutive win in the league as they complete a league double over Jets.
Yabuku scored in the 29th minute to lift the Miners up the standings to fifth though the bulk of the fixtures will come off on Sunday.
AshantiGold had endured a difficult first round but they are experiencing a turn in fortune with four straight wins on the bounce in the second round of the competition.
