Ghanaian youngster player Yaw Yeboah has been nominated for the CAF Youth Player of the Year.
The Lille midfielder was part of Sellas Tetteh’s under 20 team that represented Ghana at the African Youth Championship in Senegal and the World Cup in New Zealand.
Yeboah dazzled fans and players alike with his pace and trickery and scored Ghana’s first goal at the youth World Cup.
Yeboah is product of Ghana’s reknowned Rights to Dream Academy.
The youngster will compete against Adama Traore of Mali, Kelechi Nwakali of Nigeria, Samuel Diarra of Mali and Victor Osimhen of Nigeria.
Charles Kumi Gyamfi of Ghana has also been nominated for the African Legend awards with Ghana making both the Men National Team of the Year and the Women National Team of the Year.
