The siblings of Christian Atsu continue to express grief over the passing of their brother.
In a tribute during his final burial service, they mentioned that Atsu was a unifier.
According to them, Atsu possessed the spirit of togetherness and taught them not to be selective but to relate well with one another.
“Oh brother, we see you as a great person, you cared for everyone with a large heart and never separated a corn from beans, you taught us to relate with one another.”
“Christin Atsu Twasam is your name, however, we preferred to call you Uncle Atsu,” they stated.
The siblings also expressed in the tribute that, their late brother will forever be remembered and loved.
“Atsu we love you, we cherish you but God loves you more, may your soul rest in peace in the bosom of the Lord till we meet again,” they mentioned.
The final funeral service of the late Ghanaian and international footballer, Christian Atsu, who died in the Turkey-Syria earthquake last month took place on Friday, March 17, 2023.
His state-assisted funeral was held at the forecourt of the State House, Accra and thousands of mourners and well-wishers from Ghana and abroad filed past the body to pay their last respects.
He will be interred in his hometown, Dogobome on Saturday, March 18.
