Award-winning Ghanaian food services provider, Zesuza Catering Services has received ISO certification for its operations in Ghana.
The company was certified with ISO 22000: 2018, which specifies requirements for a food safety management system (FSMS) to enable an organization that is directly or indirectly involved in the food chain to plan, implement, operate, maintain and update an FSMS providing products and services that are safe, in accordance with their intended use; to demonstrate compliance with applicable statutory and regulatory food safety requirements; and to evaluate and assess mutually agreed customer food safety requirements and to demonstrate conformity with them.
It is also to position the business to effectively communicate food safety issues to interested parties within the food chain, to ensure that the organization conforms to its stated food safety policy; and to demonstrate conformity to relevant interested parties.
An official statement issued on Wednesday, August 31, 2023, said the company had received the certification for ensuring timely access to excellent, hygienic and quality services to the public and excellence in management procedures.

The certificate was awarded after the verification of efficiency in service quality, service standards and safety.
Speaking at a short ceremony to officially announce the attainment of the ISO certification, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Zesuza Catering Services, Soraya Mensah said, it reflects their commitment to delivering the highest standards of quality customer satisfaction and continuous improvement in all their endeavours.

She added that, ISO 22000: 2018 is more than just a Certification; it is a testament to their dedication to excellence in every aspect of their operations.

Soraya Mensah added that the company has never seized the opportunity to evolve in order to remain relevant.
According to her, the company has transformed to the point where it deems it imperative to standardise and certify its operations and policies in order to play in the same space as every other global entity and institution.
Zesuza Catering recently won the Best Catering Services Provider of the Year Award at Ghana's Forty under 40 Awards.

The CEO won the 2022 Best Caterer of the Year and also won the 2021 Best Supporting Team of the Year Award at the GEIC.
