The Ashanti Regional Police Command has apprehended four suspects in connection with a highway robbery on the Nkawie-Kobeng road that took place on Friday.
Occupants of three vehicles, a sprinter bus with registration number AS 3970-20, Nissan March with registration number AS 4327-13 and KIA Might truck with registration number AW 885-17, were yesterday evening robbed of their mobile phones and an undisclosed amount of money by some four armed men.
The armed gang after their operation made their escape through a nearby bush.
Less than 24 hours after the incident, a statement by the Ghana Police Command sighted by JoyNews revealed that four persons whose names have not been disclosed have been picked up after investigations.

According to the Police, its team was able to arrest these culprits owing to the support provided by residents in the area.
A single barrel gun was retrieved by the dispatched team after intensely combing the area.
Meanwhile, the four suspects are in remand pending due processes.
