Alhaji Mustapha Ali Idris, former Northern regional Minister and former Minister of Works and Housing is dead.
The former minister died Sunday at the 37 Military Hospital after a short illness.
A family member, Alhaji Hindu confirmed the news to Joy News' Martina Bugri when she visited the family house at Tamale.
Burial of the mortal remains of the former Minister is expected to take place on Monday June 3, 2013, in accordance with Islamic tradition.
