The Mallam-junction intersection of the N1 Highway was on Monday rendered completely impassable following the heavy downpour in Accra and surrounding areas.Both sides of the road were turned into a sea of brown water causing anxiety amongst motorists.Unsure of the depth of the water, many vehicles travelling to and from the Central Regional town of Kasoa have parked at opposite sides of the Mallam junction, waiting impatiently for the flood waters to recede.But it appears they may have a lot of waiting to do as the downpour has not completely ceased.Some drivers especially of commercial vehicles are braving the floods and wading through the waters to get to their destination.
