Just about a month after Nollywood actor Jim Iyke was allegedly delivered from demonic attacks, it looks like controversies surrounding the incident have no end in sight.

The renowned actor was delivered by one of the prophets during the live deliverance service at the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) in Nigeria headed by Prophet T.B. Joshua about a month ago. 

Iyke was delivered from alleged demonic spirits which, according to the Man of God, had hindered his chances of finding real love and marrying.

Several persons had questioned the sincerity of the whole deliverance session with some alleging that the actor and the Man of God were only acting for the cameras.

Veteran Nollywood actor Segun Arinze commenting on it said, “This Jim Iyke’s deliverance video at the Synagogue trending looks too contrived. It’s a big embarrassment. Has anyone ever seen demons come out live and speak? Una fit stand demons? Una carry Nollywood enter Church, abi? How much did he get paid? I’m just wondering. Make una stop all these nonsense play. Haba."

In the wake of disputes over the incident and arguments that Prophet T.B. Joshua might not be a true Man of God, Jim Iyke took to Twitter Thursday night to state that it is not his place to judge the renowned prophet.

The actor, who says he is now God's Ambassador, said "Prophet TB Joshua; Real or Fake is nt in my place to judge nor urs.M testament is d clarity of vision n mission I hv nw.M focus is God nt man".

Jim Iyke had also disclosed via a tweet days after the deliverance that he is grateful that he is not part of the 99 percent of celebrities who have not been saved.

"99%celebs awak daily on wet pillows wif fat accts behind Versace shades.Christ made me part of d 1%.Its profoundly disturbing to certain peo[ple]," he said.
