Reggie Rockstone's Django Bar last Friday hosted an event described by many as "the biggest party" the venue has hosted in recent times.
It was the Bola Ray Story party.
While the Django Bar has become the biggest and a hotspot for partying in the capital, many have attributed Friday's event to one man - Kwabena Anokye Adisi popularly known as Bola Ray.
Bola Ray stormed the Django Bar with fans, colleagues and admirers for a once-in-a-life-time party dubbed "The Bola Ray Story".
Known as "the man who has got Accra wrapped around his little finger", Bola Ray's ultimate late afternoon drive show - Drive Time on Joy 99.7 FM - was recently adjudged 'Radio Programme of the Year' at the 24th Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana Marketing (CIMG) Performance Awards.
"The Bola Ray Story", according to organizers, was perfectly shaped to celebrate the successes chalked up by the programme over the past years including the CIMG award.
Apart from the scores of revelers and fans who trooped to the venue for the event, several well-known celebrities could not afford to miss out on the fan.
Some of the notable faces at the party included Reggie Rockstone, Kofi Okyere Darko (KOD), Benny Blanco, Nii Ayi Tagoe, Elikem Kumordzi, Pokello Nare, Maria Nepembe, Adrian Bolt Lewis (all of Big Brother Africa - The Chase) and Samuel Bampoe (Sammy B).
The six-hour packed party was never short of good music, dance, drinks and some of the beautiful people Accra has on offer.
This will, however, not be the first time the Django Bar has hosted an event of such magnitude to celebrate some of the country's celebrities.
The bar has so far celebrated KOD and Efya, and Reggie Rockstone explained to Myjoyonline.com in an earlier interview that "the event is to celebrate and acknowledge successful people in their fields of endeavour."
