Miss Universe Ghana 2014, Abena Akuaba Appiah, left the shores of Ghana Friday to the United States of America to begin preparation towards the upcoming Miss Universe finale.
She was accompanied to the airport by her family (mum and kid sister) and the organisers of the Miss Universe Ghana pageantry. Some section of the Press was also present.
This year’s Miss Universe pageant will be the 63rd Miss Universe pageant and it will be held on January 25, 2015 at the FIU Arena at Florida International University in Doral, Miami, Florida, USA.
88 contestants from all over the world including Ghana’s Abena Appiah will compete for the crown.
The current Miss Universe with the crown is still Gabriela Isler of Venezuela.
