Reggae and dancehall artiste Samini has accepted the ‘legendary’ status conferred on him by fans and music lovers across the world and has promised better days ahead.
He did so at his first virtual concert on Saturday held in Canada which was streamed across all his social media platforms
“I am 38 [years] now and still counting. There are people who have known my name for so long and expect me to be older but guess what, we’re still counting and still calculating.
“Man is just a young legend. You guys gave me the name legend and I accept it with all positivity,” the artiste, born Emmanuel Andrews Sammini added.
He said what he is doing now is the beginning and there is more to come. “As the story unfolds make sure you take notes,” he added.
Samini performed almost all his hit songs, including Obaa, Linda, My own, Movement, Iskoki, Time bomb, Scatter bad mind and others.
This is the musician’s first virtual concert which was dubbed Untamed.
