The Audit Service of Ghana has announced a nationwide posting and transfer exercise which takes effect immediately.
The transfers are to be completed by Monday April 5, 2021.
This was disclosed in a circular issued by the Deputy Auditor-General, Ali Mohammed Zakaria dated January 4, 2021.
The circular has advised “all affected persons who are Heads of Branches or Districts to prepare handing-over notes to their replacements or respective Heads as the case may be, before leaving for their new stations.”
Affected Heads have been directed to hand over copies of their notes to the Deputy Auditor-General’s office and as well communicate in writing the date they assume office at their new posts.
Meanwhile, affected officers are to assume duty early to enable the processing of their transfer-related allowances on time.
