The AFP news agency says a Rwandan UN peacekeeper has been killed in the Central African Republic (CAR).
It quotes the UN as saying it happened in fighting when rebels attached the capital, Bangui.
Rebel forces, opposed to the recent re-election of Faustin-Archange Touadéra and allegedly supported by former President François Bozizé, have been advancing on the city.
