Ghana, as part of President Akufo-Addo’s efforts to vaccinate over 20 million Ghanaians by October 2021 initiated a roll-out plan.
Following the arrival of 600,000 AstraZeneca under the COVAX facility, the country began a nationwide vaccination from Tuesday, March 2.
On PM: Express tonight, Evans Mensah together with his panel of experts will assess the country’s progress so far.
Guests for the discussion includes a Clinical Microbiologist and Research Fellow, KCCR and Lecturer, Department of Medical Diagnostics, KNUST, Dr Michael Owusu, group leader- Global Health and Infectious Diseases, KCCR and Global Health Department, School of Public Health, KNUST, Dr John Amuasi.
Also is a Senior Public Health Officer, Ghana Health Service, Emmanuel T. Sally, and Immunologist and Research Fellow, West Africa Centre for Cell Biology of Infectious Pathogens (WACCBIP), Dr Yaw Bediako.
