President, Nana Dwomoh Sarpong emphasized the role of the district assemblies in the continuity of the initiative.
He charged them to ensure the laws are enforced.
“If the district assemblies do their work well, all these unnecessary rezoning will be a thing of the past. The district assemblies should support the president’s initiative,” he said.
Forestry Resources Technology Students, Head of State award scheme secretariat and the environmental leadership forum both donated 100 seedlings each, KNUST SRC and GRASAG also donated 150 seedlings.
