Wilmar Africa has congratulated all farmers for working hard to feed the country, promising to collaborate with them more, going forward into the future.
According to the multinational firm, the farmer is always at the heart of its operations.
“At Wilmar Africa, we invest you harvest. That simply means the farmer is at the heart of our operations. We ensure the sustainability of the whole food chain from the farm through the factories to our homes”, Ewuraba Adusei, Food Category Manager, Wilmar Africa Limited said.
“With products like Frytol, Fortune and Viking emo pa, Jamaa soaps, we are proudly made in Ghana, through the hard work of the farmers and our factory operators”, she added
Wilmar Africa has consistently won the Agri-business/Agro processing company of the year for both Chartered Marketing Ghana and Association of Ghana. Just a week ago, Wilmar was crowned the overall best industry in Ghana at the 10th AGI Quality Awards.
These recognitions Ewuraba Adusei said authenticate its performance and contributions to the Ghanaian economy and “our continued support to farmers and government policies and projects such as the ‘Eat Ghana Rice’ campaign which is championed this year by our Fortune Emo pa brand”.
