Many Ghanaians are feeling the ripple effect of the cedi's free fall against the dollar and they are pleading with the government to take immediate action to address the situation, which is affecting them.
Today, the cedi fell nearly 3% against the dollar and opened lower against the pound and euro on the currency market.
This prompted JoyNews' Evans Mensah to visit the Mallam Attah market to find out about the true cost of inflation from the perspective of traders, as well as how the depreciating cedi affects them.
