Young Professionals and Youth Coalition (YPYC), Founder and Executive Director, Andy Okrah has been named among 100 Africa's Most Impactful Change Makers at the 2022 edition of the Humanitarian Global Awards.
"This does not come as a surprise to citizens and development stakeholders following the works of the leading transformational leadership advocate," organisers said.
The Human Resources Management professional served at the Forestry Commission before his appointment as the Deputy Minister of the Ashanti Region in the John Mahama administration.
He stands out as a patriotic citizen and humanitarian who cares more about transformational leadership and meaningful youth participation in national development processes than partisan politics.
This endears him to people from many different political persuasions.
Hence, his Transforms Summit and Awards have hosted Former President John Kufour, Former President John Dramani Mahama, International business magnate Sir Sam Jonah, business transformer, Selorm Adadevoh, Professor Ellis Owusu- Dabo, and Lucy Quist among others.
Last month, with his leadership, YPYC launched its transformational leadership development innovation, “Mentors-Mentees Leadership Masterclass” at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) to commence the training of student leaders and other youth leaders across the country and continent.
