In a masterful and indomitable spectacle, Tamale Islamic Senior High School turned their contenders, Vitting SHS, Zabzugu SHS, and Tatale E.P. Agric SHS into spectators at the first contest of the Northern regional qualifiers.
Fixated on repeating their 81-point history in the regional qualifiers, the boys from Tamale Islamic SHS would not allow any question to swing them by, answering their main questions correctly and whisking away bonuses of their compatriots.
They won their contest with a 54-point margin to secure the first slot of the northern regional qualifiers of the 2023 championship.
The quiz mistress and audience at the Tamale GNAT hall did not run weary of their stellar performance as they kept extending their lead at every round.
Although they were unable to meet their target, Islamic Science Senior High made away with 64 points at the end of the 4-round contest.

Their competitors finished with one point ahead of one another.
Tatale E.P. Agric SHS exited with 10 points while Vitting SHS and Zabzugu SHS finished with 9 and 8 points respectively.
In the 2022 championship, Tamale Islamic Science SHS alongside Achimota School were shown the exit route by St. Augustine’s College.
The defeat is deeply imprinted on the memories of the school as they promise revenge against St. Augustine’s College.
The school is entering the national championship as one of the schools with the highest regional scores.
