The Tsito-Anyirawase stretch of the Ho-Accra Highway has been opened to light vehicle use after a bridge collapse due to a faulty culvert some weeks ago.
This was as a result of heavy rains.
The First Sky Construction company that was awarded the contract succeeded in completing the bridge within a week ahead of the one-month schedule.
Interacting with the media, the CEO of First Sky Group, Oliver Acquah-Techie, said his company is always committed to the delivery of quality and timely work, and making sure that all test specifications are met within the scheduled time.

Oliver Acquah-Techie said the First Sky Group after being awarded the contract immediately moved to the site to start with the excavation, and deployed all the technologies to make sure that they were done before schedule.
He said they are currently testing soft spots that may come out, and then proceed with the primer on the projects.Â

"For now the roads are opened to only light vehicles until everything is fully completed for the heavy ones."
The Volta Regional Director of the Ghana Highways Authority, Aminu Issaka Abubakar, commended First Sky Construction for their swift response to the project even though they were working on the Have-Asikuma and Atipomku-Asikuma roads.Â

The Volta Regional Minister, Dr. Achibald Yao Letsa said the government is looking forward to working on the second phase of the Ho town road projects and also the dual carriage from Anyirawase to Asikuma.
"First Sky is constructing from the Adomi bridge towards Asikuma and we expect that China Railways will continue the project from Ho towards meeting First Sky Construction along the way," Dr Letsa said.Â

Dr Archibald Letsa assured the public of the government's commitment to fixing the bad portions between Sokode-Gborgame to Anyirawase.
