The all-girls team of St. Catherine SHS is making a grand entry into the one-eighth stage of the National Science and Maths Quiz after beating the all-male teams of Nsutaman Catholic SHS and Sekondi College.
The girls, who were almost written off, sent shockwaves to the camps of their contenders after they won the contest with a 22-point gap.
St. Catherine SHS secured 47 points after a brilliant display of academic prowess.
Nsutaman SHS followed with 25 points, while Sekondi College trailed them with 22 points.

The competition began with fervor, but it was St. Catherine SHS that set the stage on fire.
In the first round held, the composed ladies showcased their brilliance, clinching victory with an impressive 9 point gap ahead of their closest contender.
As the quiz progressed, St. Catherine SHS refused to back down, maintaining their momentum and determination.

With each question, they displayed their knowledge and expertise, leading the contest at every round.
The other schools marveled at their prowess, making the audience anticipate each round with bated breath.
