Scores of Ghanaians on the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, are showering praise on Chef Abdul-Razak Failatu for successfully cooking for five consecutive days.
Chef Faila commenced her Guinness World Record attempt for the longest cooking session by an individual on the eve of the New Year 2024.
Her ambitious goal is to cook for an astounding 120 hours, aiming to surpass the current cook-a-thon record held by Irish Chef Alan Fisher, who cooked for 119 hours and 57 minutes.
In a remarkable feat, Chef Failatu reached the 100-hour mark in the early hours of Friday, January 5, surpassing Nigerian Chef Hilda Baci’s record of 93 hours.
In response, the social media platform has become a center of admiration, recognising Chef Failatu's remarkable achievement in reaching the 100-hour milestone without displaying any signs of tiredness and surpassing Hilda Baci’s previous record.
Many comments on the micro-blogging site suggest that Ghana will also excel over Nigeria in every competition.
