Ghanaians on the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, are showering Chef Abdul-Razak Failatu with praise for her bold attempt at the Guinness World Records cook-a-thon.
The platform has been filled with excitement as Chef Failatu successfully concludes her Guinness World Records attempt for the longest cooking marathon by an individual.
On January 1, 2024, Chef Failatu embarked on the cooking marathon to surpass the current record held by Irish chef Alan Fisher, who cooked for 119 hours and 57 minutes.
Having cooked for over 200 hours, Chef Failatu turned off the gas stove in her kitchen at the 227-hour mark in the early hours of Wednesday, January 10.
In light of this remarkable achievement, the micro-blogging site has become a hub of excitement, as Ghanaians congratulate and praise Chef Failatu and her assistant, Chef Malik Eric for this historic feat and for making culinary history.
