The Vanuatu Trade Commission to Ghana has joined in the celebration of Vanuatu’s 44th independence anniversary celebration held on July 30th.
In a statement issued by the Vanuatu Trade Commissioner to Ghana, H.E AMB. PROF HUGH KEKU ARYEE, he said “Today marks the 44th anniversary of Vanuatu's independence, a momentous occasion that we, at the Vanuatu Trade Commission to Ghana, proudly celebrate.
“This day is a testament to our nation's resilience, unity, and unwavering commitment to progress and prosperity. As we commemorate this significant milestone, it is important to reflect on our journey and achievements, both in Vanuatu and across the globe. Our nation's progress has been characterized by economic growth, social development, and international collaboration.”
In Ghana and Africa, the Vanuatu Trade Commission has made remarkable strides over the past one and a half years, contributing to the economic and social advancement of the region.
"HRM King Rex Timothy McPherson Semako, President of the African Diaspora Central Bank and Chairman of ECO-6, said, "Vanuatu's journey over the past 44 years is an inspiring testament to the power of unity and resilience. As we celebrate this milestone, we also celebrate the invaluable contributions of the Vanuatu Trade Commission in Ghana, which have significantly advanced our shared goals of economic development. "
The Vanuatu Trade Commissioner to Ghana reaffirmed the country’s commitment to strengthening ties with Ghana and Africa and to contributing to the sustainable development of our global community.
“We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our partners, stakeholders, and the people of Ghana for their unwavering support and collaboration. Together, we look forward to a future filled with shared success and prosperity” the statement concluded.
The Republic of Vanuatu is an island nation located in the South Pacific Ocean. The archipelago is located some 1,750 km east of Australia, 500 km north-east of New Caledonia, west of Fiji and south of the Solomon Islands. It was named New Hebrides during its colonial period.
