In a stunning grand finale held on Sunday, August 25, 2024, at East Legon in Accra, Jhijhi claimed victory as the winner of The Model International 2024.
This renowned reality TV show, known for its demanding challenges across commercial, runway, and photo modeling, showcased the extraordinary talents and resilience of 16 contestants. Jhijhi's exceptional skills and charisma throughout the competition set her apart, allowing her to triumph over nine other talented finalists.
The journey to the top was anything but easy. Contestants faced a diverse range of tasks designed to push their versatility and adaptability to the limit. Jhijhi stood out in numerous challenging scenarios, including a daring bikini shoot, a nerve-wracking task involving a live snake, and a provocative lingerie shoot. She also excelled in fashion shows, body painting, and various themed shoots, from bridal wear to maternity.

Among the 16 participants—Tiana, Radwoa, Dzifa, Mirababy, Giata, Benewaa, Sitso, Titoe, Abynah, Selacy, Joyce, Sweet Priscy, Kukua, Doris, and Jamila—9 made it to the grand finale. Each finalist displayed remarkable poise and talent, but Jhijhi’s standout performances consistently impressed both the judges and the audience. Her adaptability and captivating presence secured her the coveted title.

Jhijhi's victory comes with an impressive array of prizes, including: A cash prize of $2,000.00, Six months of intensive training with Stain Models, an international modeling agency in Ghana; A year’s supply of water from Sky Water, A year’s supply of MoMo Milk and Alimo range of products, A year’s supply of KIVO range of products, Free healthcare for a year at 3E Medical Centre, A billboard in each major city in Ghana and many other prizes.
Jhijhi's victory highlights her remarkable modeling skills and resilience. As The Model International 2024 winner, she is now set to embark on a series of high-profile projects, capitalizing on the success and visibility gained from the show. The future looks bright for Jhijhi, who is poised to make a significant impact in the fashion and modeling industry.

About Jhijhi
Jhijhi, whose real name is Belinda Sedofia, is a 24-year-old graduate from Mafi-Aflavenu. Standing at 5'7", she is talented in public speaking, acting, and storytelling. Fluent in both English and Ewe, she enjoys photography and previously earned recognition as the second runner-up in Miss African Beauty Ghana. Belinda has also collaborated with TV3, Express Petroleum Limited, and Dando Manufacturing Limited on various ad and corporate shoots.
Throughout her journey in The Model International, Jhijhi overcame numerous challenges, such as balancing her exams with competition tasks and tackling her first body painting assignment. A memorable highlight was winning the first task and receiving VIP tickets to TGMA. Through the competition, she has significantly improved her runway skills and learned to manage unexpected situations. Her modeling philosophy is to "Do it with delusion until it becomes reality." She aspires to be a globally recognized model, working with top brands like Vogue and Valentino, drawing inspiration from her role model, Kendall Jenner.
