Nigerian President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has expressed his unwavering confidence in Ghana’s newly inaugurated President, John Dramani Mahama.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony held in Accra on 7th January 2025, Tinubu praised Mahama’s leadership qualities and expressed optimism about the positive impact his administration would have on the nation.
Addressing the gathering, President Tinubu highlighted Mahama’s experience and dedication to serving the people of Ghana.
“I have no doubt that your administration will bring about positive change and progress,” Tinubu remarked, drawing applause from the audience. He noted that Ghana stands poised for significant advancements under Mahama’s stewardship.
Tinubu also reaffirmed the close ties between Nigeria and Ghana, pledging Nigeria’s unwavering support for Mahama’s government.
He stressed the importance of regional cooperation and solidarity, stating that Ghana could always count on Nigeria as a reliable partner in achieving its development goals.
Encouraging collaboration, Tinubu urged Mahama not to hesitate in seeking assistance whenever required.
“Do not hesitate to reach out. Nigeria stands ready to support your efforts in fostering unity, stability, and growth,” he said, underlining the spirit of camaraderie between the two nations.
