Rev. Dr. Stephen Wengam, the General Superintendent of Assemblies of God, Ghana, delivered an inspiring and encouraging message to President John Dramani Mahama, expressing his belief that divine guidance will lead Ghana through its present difficulties.
Speaking at the National Prayer and Thanksgiving Service held at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) on Sunday, Rev. Wengam affirmed that Ghana is on the brink of a transformative period, with God's intervention steering the country towards renewal and progress.
“One chapter has closed in our political history, and God is ushering Ghana into a new season. If you observe what is happening now, it is clear that God is at work,” Rev. Wengam stated.
Addressing President Mahama directly, he remarked, “Your Excellency, God is telling you that although you have come at a time of great challenge, those who shape history are the ones who find solutions in difficult times. God says, 'I will make a way in the wilderness.'”
Rev. Wengam concluded by offering reassurance to both the nation and the President, declaring, “I have come to proclaim to Ghana that God will make a way through the wilderness. Through you, Your Excellency, the Lord will lead the way forward.”
