The West African Football Union Zone B (WAFU B) has announced new dates for the 2025 U20 Boys Cup, confirming that the competition will now be held in Ghana from July 10 to 23, 2025.
This follows a recent postponement of the original schedule, which had not been publicly detailed.
In a media release, WAFU B urged all seven member nations to make the necessary preparations to ensure full participation in the rescheduled tournament.
The regional tournament serves as a key developmental platform for young talent across West Africa, often acting as a qualifier for the U-20 Africa Cup of Nations.
Past editions have featured rising stars who have gone on to represent their senior national teams.
Ghana, a traditional powerhouse in youth football, last hosted the competition in 2020 and is expected to provide a competitive and well-organised event.
