World Vision Ghana and VisionFund Ghana wish to advise the public that we are not in any way
associated with a fraudulent loan scheme operating under the name “World Vision Foundation
Loan.”
We wish to make it clear that World Vision Ghana does not offer loans of any kind and does
not charge any fees for its services.
The only legitimate financial institution affiliated with World Vision in Ghana is VisionFund Ghana, who also do not charge upfront fees for their services.
Those soliciting funds have falsely claimed affiliation with World Vision, advertising through satellite
TV, social media, and other platforms. Members of the public have been misled into transferring
funds under false pretenses.
To combat this fraudulent activity, World Vision Ghana and VisionFund Ghana are launching a nationwide campaign titled “Our Identity; Our Integrity” to raise awareness and prevent further fraud.
We urge the public to:
- Verify any loan offers through VisionFund Ghana official platforms and hotlines.
- Never send money in advance for loans.
- Report any suspicious activity to the police, and notify VisionFund Ghana, and World Vision
Ghana.
We have referred the matter to law enforcement. Formal notices are also being issued to television
channels and media platforms that have unknowingly aired the misleading advertisements urging
them to cease broadcasting such content and to support efforts to protect the public from further
misinformation.
