Prampram Senior High School has etched its name into the 2025 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) storybooks after delivering a stunning performance that left fans in awe and competitors reeling.
In what can only be described as a seismic upset, Prampram SHS outclassed Tema Methodist SHS and PRESEC Osu in all five rounds of their contest, finishing with an unshakable 45 points, the highest in the contest.
The feat is not only impressive; it’s unprecedented.

This marks the first time that Prampram SHS has qualified for the regional and national stages of the National Science and Maths Quiz.
For a school that has never crossed the qualifiers, the moment was nothing short of euphoric.
Contestants and supporters broke into wild celebrations as the final bell rang, overwhelmed by the significance of their win.
“This is more than just a victory. It is a statement that we also deserve a seat at the table,” one student shared, eyes beaming with pride.

Held as part of the 2025 Greater Accra Regional Qualifiers, the contest had been anticipated as a clash of experience versus ambition. But few expected the underdog to lead from the first round all the way to the final whistle.
Now headed for the regional stage, Prampram SHS will look to ride this momentum into uncharted territory with history already in their favour and belief on their side.
