Ghanaian midfielder Prosper Ahiabu has officially been recognised for a remarkable milestone in his career, his 100th appearance in the Finnish Veikkausliiga, achieved on August 1.
Although the landmark was reached earlier in the month, Ahiabu was formally presented with an award on Friday to celebrate his consistency, resilience, and influence since joining the league.

Over the years, the VPS midfielder has earned admiration for his tireless work ethic, composure on the ball, and leadership at the heart of midfield.
His century of games stands as a testament to his durability and importance to both his club and the Veikkausliiga.
Reflecting on the achievement, Ahiabu shared a message of gratitude with his supporters on Instagram: “One match at a time, every minute had a lesson. Thank God. #100andcounting.”
The award presentation marks not only a personal triumph for Ahiabu but also a proud moment for (Vaasan Palloseura) VPS, whose fans continue to celebrate his contribution to the club’s progress in Finnish football.
