Cote d'Ivoire side ASEC Mimosas made history on Tuesday as they reached the final of the CAF Women's Champions League.
The WAFU B Champions defeated Egypt's FC Masar to reach the last two on their first attempt in the competition.
Essi Dagba scored the only goal of the game as they edged out the Egyptians in the semifinal round of the tournament.
The West African side beat TP Mazembe, drew with JKT Queens and thumped Gaborone United to reach the last four of the tournament.
ASEC will face Moroccan side, AS FAR, in the final of this year's tournament.
AS FAR secured a place in the final following their penalty shootout win over defending champions, TP Mazembe earlier on Tuesday.
Just like ASEC, AS FAR also recorded two wins (vs. USFAS Bamako and 15 de Agosto) and one draw (vs. FC Masar) en route to reaching the semifinals.
The final of the competition is scheduled for Friday, November 21, with AS FAR hoping to win the competition for a second time while ASEC Mimosas chase a first title.
