Medeama S.C coach Ibrahim Tanko is cautiously optimistic of his side's chances, as they take on Asante Kotoko in the Ghana Premier.
The two sides are separated by just two points; Medeama on 22 points in third place while Kotoko are on 20 points in fourth place on the league table.
Looking ahead to Sunday’s contest at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Tanko said "we are eight games unbeaten now but I know against Kotoko, it is going to be a different game altogether."
Since the 1-0 defeat to Karela United on September 28, Medeama have not lost a league match.
The Mauves and Yellows have won four and drawn four league matches since then.
"Definitely, we will get our chances and I hope that the strikers will be more clinical this time and score the goals.
"I think it is going to be a very good game because both clubs have very good teams."
Kotoko's preparations for this game have been less than desirable. The Porcupine Warriors suffered a 2-1 loss to Holy Stars, their first defeat of the season.
However, Kotoko will take consolation from their recent home record against Medeama.
They have won two of their last meetings at the Baba Yara Stadium.Sunday's match kicks off at 4PM.
