The Minister for the Interior, Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to addressing the pressing challenges faced by Ghana’s security personnel, including housing, morale, and logistics, in the coming year.
He made the assurance during a Joint Security Services Route March held at the El Wak Sports Stadium in Accra, an event organised by the Ghana Armed Forces in collaboration with other security agencies to demonstrate their readiness to maintain peace and order during the festive season.
Commending the security personnel for their dedication and professionalism, the Minister highlighted ongoing efforts to retool and equip the services to enhance operational effectiveness.
“The government is aware of the challenges you face and remains committed to supporting you in areas critical to your welfare and performance,” he stated.
The public display of unity among the various security agencies underscores the nation’s preparedness for the Yuletide period, with coordinated operations aimed at ensuring safety and security across the country.
The route march served both as a morale booster for personnel and a reassurance to citizens of the government’s focus on public safety.
