Ghana youth international Daniel Opare earned a surprise call to train with the Real Madrid first team on Thursday as he aims at realizing his faint hopes of making his La Liga debut at the club.
The 19-year-old right-back and Castella team mate Juan trained with the Galacticos for an hour and half in a bid to win a slot for Saturday's visit of Getafe.
Opare was a surprise package at training as the two established right-backs Sergio Ramos and Arbeloa are all fit for selection.
Head coach Manuel Pellegrini who is under pressure to overturn results at the Santiago Bernabeu after Tuesday's 4-0 defeat to Alcorcon has spotted the Fifa Under-20 World Cup winner as one of the new materials to freshen his squad.
Opare played a bit-part role in Egypt but caught the eyes of the technical team with his speed, physical strength and his powerful shots.
He had a similar invitation to train with senior team late last year under boss Juande Ramos but a recurrent toe injury sidelined him for close to four months.
