England coach Fabio Capello reckons Ghana is one of two African sides capable of mounting a serious challenge at next year's World Cup in South Africa.
The Italian will be looking to win England's first World Cup since 1966 and thinks in addition to traditional giants like France and Brazil, Ghana and the Ivory Coast could pose a threat to their ambition.
'We speak about the French and Argentina but one or two of the African teams will be challengers', he said.
'Ivory Coast and Ghana are really good and the passion of the South African fans will help their team a lot.'
Ghana and Ivory Coast both impressed at their first World Cup appearance in 2006 and their collection of players from some of Europe's top leagues and experience has led to rave reviews in the build up to the tournament.
Now the two will be hoping they don't do a Columbia who were touted as potential World Cup winners only to exit the competition at the first round stage.
